Depending on whom you ask at ESPN, Tom Brady is the second-best quarterback in the NFL. After Sam Monson did not consider Brady an elite quarterback in early June and took him off the Mount Rushmore of active quarterbacks, Ron Jaworski put him at No. 2 behind Peyton Manning in his list of the 32 best gunslingers in the league. Jaws seems to like quarterbacks who have a Super Bowl under their belt. Seven of the eight starting quarterbacks who have won a Super Bowl made the top 10. After Manning and Brady, Aaron Rodgers (No. 3), Drew Brees (No. 4), Ben Roethlisberger (No. 6), Russell Wilson (No. 9) and Joe Flacco (No. 10) rounded out the Super Bowl winners on the list. Other QBs in the top 10 were Andrew Luck (No. 5), Philip Rivers (No. 7) and Matt Ryan (No. 8). Eli Manning, the only other active Super Bowl-winning quarterback was ranked No. 11. Of course, every analyst will have a different opinion on how a quarterback should be evaluated, but hopefully New England Patriots fans get some solace that at least one man in Bristol still thinks Brady is elite.    Filed under: Andre Khatchaturian, New England Patriots, NFL, Top Stories
