The Cincinnati Bengals were a 6.5 point favorite at home in Sunday’s AFC Wild Card game against the San Diego Chargers. So much for that as the Chargers flat out played the Bengals.
The nail in the coffin if you will came when Ronnie Brown broke off a 58-yard touchdown run just before the two minute warning. That play was the second after the Bengals turned it over on downs after Andy Dalton threw an incomplete pass.
For those playing at home the Bengals are 0-3 in the playoffs with Dalton at quarterback. After a sterling regular season there will obviously be debate by fans and media as to whether or not the Bengals can win in the post season with Dalton.
