Brandon Jacobs says his 49ers teammate Randy Moss still has a chip on his shoulder. Is that a good or bad thing for SF?

Randy Moss: Can he be the difference for 49ers?

For a guy who’s played in only 16 games over the last two years, with a total of 28 catches, Randy Moss is generating an awful lot of publicity for the San Francisco 49ers and the NFL in general. Will he be the answer to San Francisco’s anemic passing game, or will he become Alex [...]

Jim Harbaugh On Randy Moss: “Our Best Receiver Right Now”

San Francisco 49ers head man Jim Harbaugh had some interesting things to say about wide receiver Randy Moss recently. During a segment on Sirius XM NFL Radio, Rich Gannon talked about a conversation he had with 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh. The excitable leader of the Niners told Gannon that Randy Moss is “our best receiver right now.” Harbaugh has been impressed...

Report: 49ers, Dashon Goldson can still get a deal done

Getty Images According to Jason La Canfora of CBSSPorts.com, if safety Tyvon Branch and the Raiders are able to agree on a new contract soon, it would help the 49ers and Dashon Goldson get something worked out before Monday’s deadline, since they’d then have a nice template to go by. Goldson had a break out year in 2011 and will have to prove this season that it wasn’t a fluke.

Brooks one of the rare supplemental successes

Not many players ever make it from the NFL’s supplemental draft since its inception in 1977, but 49ers outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks is one of the rare breed. While the summer draft rarely produces impact performers – much less players who even make rosters – there are some notable exceptions, and there’s no doubt about the player at the top of the pecking order.

Today's elite receivers just doing their jobs

For a few years, the best three receivers in the NFL were also associated with locker room problems, and receivers in general were looked at as selfish players. Today, Randy Moss is amidst his going away tour with the San Francisco 49ers, Chad Ochocinco has moved on to Miami, and the king of locker room problems, Terrell Owens, is currently out of the NFL and looking for a way...
