The Ryan Fitzpatrick experience is in year four in Buffalo and the best he has done until this point, is five wins. In order to understand the quarterback a little better, let's look at where he came from.Fitzpatrick was the 250th pick (seventh round), of the St. Louis Rams in the 2005 Draft. He started three games late in the season, after Rams starting quarterback, Jamie Martin, suffered an injury. In 2008, the Rams traded Fitzpatrick to the Cincinnati Bengals for a seventh-round draft pick.During his time in Cincinnati, Fitzpatrick saw very limited action as Carson Palmer's backup, until Palmer went down with a season-ending injury in the 2008 season.Fitzpatrick started 12 games and finished with a record of 4-7-1. He completed 59.4 percent of his passes and had a passer rating of 70.Apparently, this was enough for Buffalo to make a move for Fitzpatrick. He signed with the Bills before the start of the 2009 season and started the season as Trent Edwards' backup. Once m...

Bills looking for new quarterback?

The Buffalo Bills may be in the market for a new quarterback. After going with Ryan Fitzpatrick for four seasons, they appear ready for a change.

The Bills have underachieved this season and the Head Coach might pay the price. A look at Head Coaches in trouble.

The Buffalo Bills were picked by many, including me, to make the playoffs this season.  They have not lived up to that expectation. As we get closer to the end of the season it's time to start looking ahead to the coaching changes for next year. Here's a quick look at the teams I think will, or should, be looking for a coaching change when the season ends. ...

Buffalo GM Buddy Nix: “We need a good, young quarterback, and we’re going to do our best to get him”

If I’m Ryan Fitzpatrick, I wouldn’t be buying any property in Buffalo anytime soon. Once looked at the future of the Bills, Fitzpatrick is now an after thought in the mind of Bills GM Buddy Nix. In an interview with WGR, Nix was quite candid in his view of what direction the Bills should head in. Another disappointing season has brought the Bills to the conclusion that...

Stephon Gilmore is becoming a shut down corner in Buffalo

When Buffalo selected Stephon Gilmore with their first round pick this year, I was not sure about the pick. But now that I look at the growth of the young corner I am impressed.  It all started a few weeks ago when Buffalo played Larry Fitzgerald, and the Arizona Cardinals. Gilmore sent a text message to his coaching staff letting them know “I want #11″.  As a fan I was kind...

Bills Looking To A “Big Time Outside Receiver?”

Bills GM Buddy Nix discussed some of the areas on their roster where he would like to find some impact talent. One of these positions just happens to be an outside receiver to opposite of Stevie Johnson. “I think Stevie’s a guy that you can play him in the slot or you can play him outside. But we need a big-time outside receiver,” said Nix, via the Buffalo News. “T.J. gives...

Buddy Nix shocks Bills fans and says “Time is Now” to trade up for a QB

Buffalo Bills fans have known for a while that we need a quarterback. Although the front office has made us drink the Ryan Fitzpatrick Kool Aid for the past few years, it is time for a new QB, maybe even a new coach? Well today Buddy Nix went on WGR 550 in Buffalo and shocked the fan base. “Let me say this: I think there’s a time that in the era that you’re in and the development...

It seems like it’s every week now that Bills GM Buddy Nix is discussing the possibility of drafting a new quarterback. That continued again on Friday as Nix went as far to say that he would even consider trading up for one in next year’s draft. “Let me say this: I think there’s a time that in the era that you’re in and the development of your team, there’s a time when...

Buffalo Bills: Week 15 NFL Power Rankings (#23)

Last week: 19 (-4) Record: 5-8 Net points per drive: -0.41 (26th) DVOA: -6.5% (21st) Weighted DVOA: -2.0% (17th) Buffalo has two divisional games against comparable teams, one in Miami, who they already beat, and one at home for the Jets, who they already lost to. I say they split those 2 and the Seattle game is the wild card one. The Seahawks have fallen flat in several games against...

Stevie Johnson Hauls In Amazing One-Handed Grab

Stevie Johnson of the Buffalo Bills hauled in one of the best catches we have seen this season, with only one hand.  Ryan Fitzpatrick let the ball fly over the middle and it seemed like it was going to sail over Johnson’s head, but somehow he reached back with his right hand and made the spectacular catch.     [KSK] Article found on: Cosby Sweaters
