Miami Dolphins’ quarterback Ryan Tannehill has been receiving praise all off season from his receivers, Ron Jaworski, and now you can add his teammates on the defensive side of the ball. Andrew Abramson of the PalmBeachPost.com reports that during a team-held conference call with fans, a couple different players on the defense had some good things to say about the second year quarterback. Linebacker Dannell Ellerbe says he has “seen a lot of good decisions” from Tannehill and defensive back Jimmy Wilson adds that he has seen a big improvement in him. Seeing Tannehill as a rookie and seeing him now, I think he’s increased his skill level leaps and bounds,” Wilson said. “I think he’s more comfortable with the game. He’s bigger, faster, stronger and everybody knows he has a NFL arm. … We’ve thrown a lot at him early and he seems to be handling it real well. Normally I would say this isn’t a big deal. And in fact I still will. However what I do find interesting is the consistent praise Tannehill is receiving. Tannehill is definitely trending upward in players to watch this coming season. For his sake, I hope he can live up to the hype he’s been receiving this off season. Need NFL Tickets? Loading...
