However with the Falcons 4-0 and the Saints 0-4, did Lofton make a mistake signing with the Saints? The whole reason Lofton signed with the Saints was either because of money or finding a championship, because the Saints have had more success in the Playoffs. Lofton also was brought in by the Saints to replace Jonathan Vilma who was at the time of Lofton’s signing facing a yearlong suspension and an injury that would have kept Vilma out for the season.
