New Orleans Saints cornerback Keenan Lewis was having some really bad stomach pains, so he checked himself into the hospital Tuesday.
Although it's not considered serious, Doctors had him stay overnight for observation, reported The Times-Picayune. No news yet on what the cause of the ailment was.
The paper also reported that he has been released from the hospital and may join his team in practice today. The former Steeler is a New Orleans native and returned to his hometown in March after signing a nice deal.
Via NFl.com: 'Lewis was the team's biggest free-agent splash this offseason, signing a five-year, $26.3 million contract with the team in February. No word if Lewis' sick stomach came from watching tape of the Saints' porous secondary last season.'
