With the season officially over, I've included below all the player GPAs for the season. I will be announcing my player awards for the season this week as well, but before I do that you'll get a good sense of who will win what based on these final grades. Perhaps my grading was a little harsher than last year, but you'll see the difference between a 13-3 team and a 7-9 team below. I also included 2011 grades for comparison sake. Most telling is that of the qualifiers (had to be graded in at least 4 games) 25 of the 35 returning players graded worse in 2012 than they did in 2011. So by and large the team didn't see much individual improvement. The biggest drop off was Jimmy Graham, who's GPA dropped 0.91 points from last year. The biggest gain was David Thomas (0.35) with Cam Jordan just behind him. Thomas Morstead ends the season with the team's highest GPA, and while you'll argue it's ridiculous is GPA is so much lower than last year - I contend his kicking off last year was much better which is why his GPA was higher then. Remember he broke an NFL record in 2011, but not in 2012. Johnny Patrick was the lowest GPA among qualifiers, and three of the four worst graded were cornerbacks. Thomas Morstead: 3.04 in 16 games graded (3.48 was 2011 GPA) Garrett Hartley: 3.00 in 16 games (n/a) Jahri Evans: 2.98 in 16 games (3.23) Pierre Thomas: 2.95 in 14 games (3.13) Chris Ivory: 2.95 in 6 games (2.95) Lance Moore: 2.93 in 15 games (3.00) Drew Brees: 2.79 in 16 games (3.54) Jed Collins: 2.78 in 15 games (2.79) Curtis Lofton: 2.77 in 16 games (n/a) Rafael Bush: 2.76 in 11 games (n/a) Ben Grubbs: 2.75 in 16 games (n/a) Darren Sproles: 2.74  in 13 games (3.23) Courtney Roby: 2.72 in 12 games (2.81) Elbert Mack: 2.72 in 6 games (n/a) Marques Colston: 2.65 in 16 games (3.31) Cam Jordan: 2.63 in 16 games (2.31) Jermon Bushrod: 2.56 in 16 games (2.85) Brian de la Puente: 2.52 in 16 games (2.60) Jabari Greer: 2.50 in 14 games (2.77) Ramon Humber: 2.50 in 4 games (2.57) Brodrick Bunkley: 2.45 in 15 games (n/a) Roman Harper: 2.42 in 16 games (2.33) Mark Ingram: 2.42 in 16 games (2.57) Will Smith: 2.42 in 16 games (2.67) Malcolm Jenkins: 2.42 in 12 games (2.40) Junior Galette: 2.42 in 12 games (2.36) Isa Abdul-Quddus: 2.42 in 12 games (2.38) William Robinson 2.42 in 4 games (n/a) Jimmy Graham: 2.36 in 15 games (3.27) Tom Johnson: 2.36 in 14 games (2.20) Joe Morgan: 2.36 in 13 games (n/a) Akiem Hicks: 2.36 in 12 games (n/a) Eric Olsen: 2.29 in 8 games (n/a) David Hawthorne: 2.24 in 11 games (n/a) Jonathan Vilma: 2.24 in 11 games (2.55) Martez Wilson: 2.23 in 16 games (2.50) David Thomas: 2.22 in 15 games (1.87) Jonathan Casillas: 2.22 in 12 games (2.50) Zach Strief: 2.17 in 12 games (3.06) Sedrick Ellis: 2.15 in 16 games (2.33) Will Herring: 2.07 in 10 games (2.14) Travaris Cadet: 2.07 in 9 games (n/a) Turk McBride: 2.00 in 7 games (1.83) Scott Shanle: 1.95 in 7 games (2.42) Patrick Robinson: 1.96 in 16 games (2.76) Devery Henderson: 1.93 in 15 games (2.35) Corey White: 1.93 in 9 games (n/a) Johnny Patrick: 1.79 in 11 games (2.56)     non qualifiers Chase Daniel: 3.00 in 1 game (2.67) Charles Brown: 2.89 in 3 games (2.14) Greg Camarillo: 2.67 in 1 game (n/a) Jerome Murphy: 2.33 in 1 game (n/a) Daniel Graham: 1.78 in 3 games (n/a) Bryce Harris: 1.33 in 1 game (n/a) Michael Higgins: 1.00 in 1 game (2.33)
