Happy Mardi Gras everybody!! I hope you have a fun day filled with celebration, but stay safe out there. With the city on lockdown there's not much news hitting the airwaves lately but we did get one nugget coming from Rafael Bush's twitter account:
Resigning with the saints for another year #whodat
— rafael bush (@rbush36) February 11, 2013
This news has not yet been confirmed officially by the NFL or the Saints, but it's safe to say the two sides have agreed to terms at least verbally on a new deal. This is great news for the team as far as I'm concerned. Bush showed some serious hitting ability on special teams and some playmaking skills to boot. I feel great about him adding significant depth at safety, especially given how miserable of a year the starters had in Malcolm Jenkins and Roman Harper.

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton told the New Orleans Times-Picayune that he believes linebacker Jonathan Vilma will be able to transition to a 3-4 defense.

Saints Jimmy Graham looks to bounce back in 2013
It wasn’t just the New Orleans Saints who had a down year, tight end Jimmy Graham also struggled in 2012.
To many others, finishing with 85 catches, 982 yards and nine touchdowns as a tight end would be a bright spot, but for Graham it was the surprising amount of dropped balls that hurt.
His career-high 15 drops comes on 100 targets of the dominant tight end. It was five more...
