According to NFL.com, the New Orleans Saints have officially place linebacker Jonathan Vilma on the PUP list.

“The New Orleans Saints have placed linebacker Jonathan Vilma on the team’s reserve/physically unable to perform list, Saints senior vice president of communication Greg Bensel tweeted Monday.

“Vilma, who currently is rehabbing an injured knee, will be eligible to return after Week 6,” wrote NFL.com.

Hopefully by the time Vilma  is eligible to come back his suspension will still be lifted.  There’s a chance by then that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will have Vilma suspended once again.
