Pro Sports Daily:
The New Orleans Saints will be without running back Darren Sproles and starting offensive tackle Strief for Sunday's home game against Atlanta. Sproles is sidelined for a second straight week because of a broken hand and Strief has a groin injury. Both were listed as out for Sunday on the Saints' injury report along with defensive end Junior Galette (ankle) and wide receiver Courtney Roby (shoulder), The Times-Picayune reported Friday. Saints interim coach Joe Vitt named Charles Brown as Strief's replacement on the offensive line.

In nullifying Sean Payton's contract, Roger Goodell may have actually been rewarding Payton while simultaneously punishing the New Orleans Saints in a big way. There's been a lot of talk about Payton moving to the Cowboys at the conclusion of his suspension, and while I'm not sure he'll leave New Orleans, the whole situation does give him a great deal of leverage...
New Orleans running back Darren Sproles (hand) will miss Week 10, according to Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times Picayune.Fantasy Spin:Sproles had surgery to repair a broken hand last week and the initial timetable projected 4-to-6 weeks. He's coming along much quicker than that, but this week the Saints will again use their four-man backfield of; Pierre Thomas, Chris Ivory...
The Saints are winning games right now but are there enough games left to get back into the NFC playoff picture. The teams that are ahead of them include Green Bay, Detroit, Minnesota, Seattle and Arizona. I don't think they have enough time.
I'm sitting at 84-49 heading into the weekend. I need to have a huge run to get over .750 for the season.
You can all bow down to your Saints Nation Guru this week which is none other than: ME. Yes, that's right. So I get my photo posted in this week's Guru post. Turns out I do know what I'm talking about maybe? I'm now tied with JamesMorse and AllisonSmith atop the leaderboard, so you better watch out, I'm going for gold.
Thanks for participating last week but...
By now everyone knows that Chris Brown and his (former) ex-girlfriend Rihanna have re-united their love for each other, but apparently that's not stopping men from trying to "holla" at the music singer.According to a report, NFL star Junior Galette, who plays for the New Orleans Saints, started talking to the music singer via Twitter. From the tweets, it appears that...
Andrew Juge of the Saints Nation stops by to explain if the pass rush we say against Philly is real, can running game stay consistent, and can the defense learn to tackle. Ralph then explains why a freak out over Sean Payton leaving is not warranted. Also it's Atlanta week which means let's bath in warm warm hatred.

Sean Payton: Heir to the Cowboys Throne?
“Sean Payton to coach Dallas Cowboys.”
No one would be surprised if that was the leading headline in the coming NFL off-season. Since the NFL voided Payton’s contract with the New Orleans Saints, speculation about Jerry Jones setting his sights on the former Cowboys assistant has run rampant.
And why not?
We have seen it before. Jerry...
Matt Ryan is one of the best quarterbacks in the league this season. He is going up against the New Orleans Saints defense, who are the worst in the league. They have allowed 450 yards of offense each game this season, which is a NFL record. It will be a fun game with Matt Ryan and Drew Brees going head-to-head in what is, in my opinion, the game of the week. Look for Matt Ryan...
The following is a collection questionable players for week 7 of the 2012 fantasy football season.
This post will be updated throughout the morning.
CJ Spiller – Shoulder
Rob Gronkowski – Hip
Brandon Lloyd – Knee
Percy Harvin – Ankle
Aaron Hernandez – Ankle
While Darren Sproles is out for the next few weeks, it is safe to rely on Pierre Thomas.
Fantasy. Darren Sproles is statistically the best receiving running back in the NFL. In part because he is a great receiver out of the backfield, but mostly because Drew Brees loves throwing the check down pass to his running backs. As the only remaining running back with a history of catching...
