Saints Nation: 5 Things to Look For in Saints @ Raiders
Gameday is here and with it comes a chance for the Saints to claw their way back to .500 for the first time since week 2! For them to get to 5-5 after an 0-4 start would be somewhat miraculous, but also necessary to have any shot at the postseason. The opponent is an extremely beatable one, but the "easier" games, which don't truly exist in the NFL, are the ones the...
Saints win relegation battle at QPR
Nigel Adkins' Southampton won 3-1 at winless QPR in a match dubbed 'El Sackico'.

QPR and Southampton had conceded 49 league goals between them prior to the game and the hosts' defence was breached...
Saints OT Charles Brown Injures Knee In Win Over Raiders
Already thin at the offensive tackle position with starting right tackle Zach Strief sitting out with a groin injury, the New Orleans Saints suffered another blow when Strief's replacement Charles Brown left the game late in the second quarter with a right knee injury.

The Saints and suspended head coach Sean Payton have not begun new talks about a contract since the NFL rejected the original three-year deal agreed upon by Payton and the team, but according to league sources those talks are expected to resume shortly, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports.

Saints Nation: Offensive Player Grades @ Raiders
The Saints were both efficient and balanced on offense in this game. 28 passes, 28 rushes. They passed for 229 at 8.2 yards per pass (thanks to 75% completions) and rushed for 153 yards at 5.5 yards a pop. The last few weeks they've gotten away from Brees throwing for 400+ yards in the interest of balance, and it's made them more explosive. This was another all around impressive...
Saints Nation: Saints Raid Oakland, Cruise to 38-17 Win
Just like that, the Saints are back to .500. After starting the season 0-4, it's hard to believe the Saints are now 5-5 and right in the thick of the wild card race, but a convincing win in Oakland did just that. The Raiders look like a lost team in complete disarray, sure, but the way the Saints were able to come in and thrash them is a very encouraging sign. The defense played...

NFLWeather.com forecasts a 50% of showers and [...]
Saints Nation: Defensive and Special Teams Player Grades @ Raiders
Once again the Saints' defense got gashed for 404 yards, but this one felt a lot different, wouldn't you say? This defense still has major problems. Most significantly glaring in this one was extremely poor tackling, which led to so many of the big plays the Raiders had. So many of those 20+ yard gains could have been cut in half with proper tackling. But, enough griping...

OAKLAND -- The New Orleans' Saints long climb back to .500 ended Sunday with a 38-17 rout of the Oakland Raiders at the O.co Coliseum.
