The New Orleans Saints signed wide receiver Preston Parker to a futures contract on Thursday. Parker worked out for the Saints in October.
He caught 44 passes for 596 yards and three touchdowns in two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2010 and 2011. He played two games for the Buccaneers this season but did not record a catch, rushing one time for 7 yards.
He began his collegiate career at Florida but was kicked off the team after a series of arrests and transferred to North Alabama.
