Found January 25, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:
ESPN’s Adam Schefter confirmed previous speculation that Romeo Crennel and Eric Mangini are being considered for the Saints defensive coordinator vacancy. Pro Football Talk reports that sources have confirmed that the Saints do in fact have interest in both candidates, but New Orleans reportedly has “more interest in Crennel than Eric Mangini.“ Sean Payton has already said that the team will transition to a 3-4 defense and Steve Spagnuolo’s time with the Saints was a huge disappointment. Crennel is a very respected coordinator that has failed twice as an NFL head coach. Mangini, on the other hand, has been out of the league since he was fired by Mike Holmgren a few years back. Of the two, Crennel seems like their best option, but there’s still time for other candidates to enter the picture.   The post Saints Targeting Romeo Crennel As Their Next Defensive Coordinator? appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.
