Saints will meet "St. Jeremy's Fire" in Jackson, Miss. today

St. Jeremy will meet with the media for the first time Thursday after the Saints' first practice at Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss. I believe that he will find the media down South little more subdued than in New York. As most first dates, the meeting may be a little akward, but I'm sure the Saints and Shockey are going to blend very well together. I will be interested how soon he and Drew Brees will start to connect. Also, the most important aspect of his arrival, is to observe his impact on Reggie Bush and Marques Colston's productivity. Fantasy Fooballers are should definitely consider drafring Shockey, Brees, Colston and Bush. Remember, the Saint threw the ball more than anyone in the NFL last year. I don't believe this year will be any different. Shockey, who turns 28 next month, has four years remaining on his contract, which is one of the most attractive aspects of the deal for the Saints.
