New Orleans Saints wide receiver Devery Henderson lost his temper - and then lost his ability to play in Friday's preseason game against the Houston Texans.
Henderson threw a punch at Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson, prompting Saints coach Sean Payton to pull the wideout from the game. It was not known what ignited the altercation.
Payton was seen yelling at Henderson on the bench as New Orleans converted its subsequent second-and-23.
The 29-year-old Henderson had 34 catches for 464 yards and one touchdown last season for the Saints.
