Dallas Cowboys And The NFL:
ARLINGTON - On Dallas' second possession, RG Leonard Davis and TE Jason Witten got flagged for back-to-back false starts, resulting in a third-and-18 from the Cowboys' 34.
Tony Romo ran up the middle on the play, but he got stopped just short of the first down marker thanks to a big hit by S Thomas DeCoud. Romo fumbled on the play and Atlanta recovered, but the Cowboys challenged and the call got overruled.
No word on whether Romo was hurt on the play. (UPDATE: Jon Kitna is warming up on the sideline.)
Dallas just can't stop committing pre-snap penalties. I'm sure when we asked Wade Phillips about it after the game, he'll say, "We're working on it."
