San Diego Chargers (4-8) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5)
Heinz Field will be rocking on Sunday when Ben Roethlisberger makes his return to the Steelers after a 3 game absence due to a rib injury, as the Steelers welcome the Chargers to town. The Chargers are in the midst of a bad year, with really nothing left to play for but pride. The President already stated that both GM and Coach were going to be canned after the dismal season, so all the players will be on notice that they are playing for their jobs next year.
It hasn’t been a great year to be a Chargers fan. Philip Rivers took himself out of the elite dialogue with a regression of a season so far. It looks like he has lost of zip on his ball, and has become more of a manager with touch throws.
Running back Ryan Matthews hasn’t been anything special this year either. The oft injured back has only found the end zone once on the ground this year, to much of fantasy owners’ dismay. It doesn’t get any easier for him as the Steelers ha...

Handicapping Steelers players for fantasy purposes has been tricky business lately. For instance, no one imagined that Charlie Batch would connect with four different receivers five times for nearly 300 yards passing last week. He was a stellar option in daily fantasy sports contests where he was available at an incredibly cheap salary relative to other quarterbacks.
In Week 14...
Ben Roethlisberger will return to the field Sunday for the Pittsburgh Steelers after missing three weeks with injuries to his right shoulder and ribs, head coach Mike Tomlin said Thursday. "He has been above the line in all areas," Tomlin told reporters. "Really, the only question we can't answer is taking a hit. Obviously that will be answered in the stadium...

He's a must-start as long as Big Ben is calling the shots.

The Pittsburgh Steelers now have quarterback Ben Roethlisberger back somewhat healthy and with cornerback Ike Taylor now sidelined indefinitely with an ankle injury, the team decided to waive quarterback Brian Hoyer on Saturday and promote cornerback Josh Victorian from the practice squad to take his spot on the 53 man roster.
Hoyer served as the backup quarterback for the last...
Season 3, Episode 52 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I get right into talking about the injuries of the Pittsburgh Steelers heading into their game Sunday against the San Diego Chargers and that of course includes talking about quarterback Ben Roethlisberger being back this week. Roethlisberger will wear a special designed vest and shoulder pads to help protect...
The Pittsburgh Steelers have gotten pretty good at beating the NFL's best.
They've nearly perfected losing to the worst.
And while San Diego is more underachieving than utterly horrific, the Chargers' 34-24 win over the Steelers on Sunday continued a perplexing trend for a team that considers itself among the elite.
Pittsburgh (7-6) has won on the road at Baltimore...
