Colin Kaepernick and Frank Gore were the major players

BIRD IS THE WORD
With the team trailing by three points late in the fourth quarter, San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore took the ball nine yards for the game winning touchdown. San Francisco’s defense was able to hold on to the lead and beat the Falcons 28-24. However, one of the best moments of the day came when Gore decided to celebrate his touchdown with the dirty bird. Check out the...
After leading his team down to score a go-ahead touchdown, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick wanted to get something to drink. Evidently, whatever was in that cup was not what he expected. The look on his face is utterly priceless, and it is even funnier that he casually puts the cup back and grabs another. You have to wonder, what was in that cup?
It looks like Colin Kaepernick’s parents have a good sense of humor.Colin’s parents were photographed before the NFC Championship game between the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers.Looking forward to more family photos as the years go on.Photo: Scott Smith

After failing to reach the Super Bowl in 2012, the San Francisco 49ers vouched to not only make it back to the NFC Championship game, but all the way to the Super Bowl. After quarterback Alex Smith went down with a concussion midway through the season, Colin Kaepernick took over the duties of starting quarterback. The NFL world as a whole was shocked when head coach Jim Harbaugh decided...
CollegeFootballGeek.com's Todd DeVries has been a fan of Colin Kaepernick since he won the Nevada quarterback job from Nick Graziano way back in 2007. Kaepernick went on to have an epic career at Nevada, becoming one of the most prolific quarterbacks in college fantasy football history. Now that he has surprisingly led the San Francisco 49ers to the Super Bowl, we thought it...
The San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons square off this Sunday at 3:00 PM EST on Fox for the NFL‘s NFC Championship and a ticket to the Super Bowl. Both teams are led by phenomenal young quarterbacks, and both of those young men have just one playoff win in their careers thus far. Atlanta’s Matt Ryan has more overall experience, but San Francisco’s Colin Kaepernick is clearly...
While much will be written about the 49ers young quarterback Colin Kaepernick, backup quarterback Alex Smith is the lone man out in San Francisco. And just think, it was only last year that Smith had them within a few minutes of going to the Super Bowl himself. Alas, it is time for Smith to explore other options. While Smith has had a less than stellar run in San Francisco, last year ...
The Atlanta Falcons were playing with house money. The monkey was off the Falcons back after barely beating the Seahawks last week. The Falcons were up 17 points and it looked like the home team had found a way to keep the 49ers highly ranked defense at bay. The Falcons defense was doing a great job containing Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers offense.
Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones...
