San Francisco 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis fired back at ESPN’s Matt Millen after Millen criticized him, and teammate NaVorro Bowman, following the 49ers’ lopsided loss to the Giants last Sunday.


The Giants’ 26-3 thrashing of San Francisco on the 49ers’ home turf was a surprise and an embarrassment.


Millen said Willis and Bowman — also a lineman — played the worst he’d ever seen. So Willis decided to trash Millen as payback.
