We wrote earlier that the Indianapolis Colts and Safety Bob Sanders parted ways after this season.
Now, it appears that the former Super Bowl winner and 2007 NFL Defensive Player of the year, will be meeting with the New York Jets this afternoon, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN,
Sanders, 30, would be a tremendous upgrade to the Jets secondary, who are looking at Eric Smith, Brodney Pool, and James Ihedibgo all headed for free agency.
While Sanders has suffered big injuries over the past three seasons, a cap-friendly deal is a no-brainer for the Jets.
