Last week, the Detroit Lions got hit with tampering charges that lead them to lose their 7th round pick. It was thought that the Lions were illegally in contact with either Jarrad Page or his agent. Yesterday, his agent weighed in on the issue, stating: "I’m baffled by the tampering decision,” John Page said. “Never had any contact with anybody from Detroit. And Detroit had absolutely nothing to do with the situation that occurred. They had nothing to do with it.” I think both the Lions and the agent aren't telling us the whole story. Of course, John Page wouldn't want to look bad in front of the media, but I definitely think the Lions were guilty seeing how the Chiefs thought there was enough evidence to file for tampering and the NFL ruled it to be tampering. The Detroit Free Press has a list of four linebackers that I think the Lions should definitely take a look at. I also would expect at least of them to be a Lions by the end of the draft.
