MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's always-outstanding NFL coverage included an item on the floundering interior of the Cowboys' offensive line titled "Stumbling Inside," which, of course, refers to center Andre Gurode and right guard Leonard Davis.

The newspaper quoted "a defensive coach of a recent Cowboys' foe" as saying, "Gurode isn't as quick-footed as he used to be, and he's getting beat. Davis isn't functioning real well."

Picking up the theme, a scout told the Journal Sentinel that, "Gurode does get a lot of things done through power. I don't like him as well as other centers. He kind of fits the Jerry Jones bill. He wants big animals. He'd give up quickness for size in a minute. That's his mentality.

"With Davis," the scout continued, "double moves where you set him one way and quick move him the other, really freezes him. He cannot recover. He's a guy that if he places his hands and he's got you in front of him, you can kiss it ...
