Seattle Seahawks corner Richard Sherman isn’t shy about voicing his opinion. Recently at an event for the NFL’s Play 60 program, Sherman made the case for the the drug Adderall to be removed from the NFL’s banned substance list. “About half the league takes it (Adderall) and the league has to allow it,” Sherman said Tuesday. “The league made a mistake in my case. Obviously, I didn’t do anything, but you have to go through a process to prove you didn’t do anything. There are still naysayers out there who don’t believe me. But I accept it. If everybody loves you, it probably means you’re not much of a player.” Adderall is prescribed for ADD or ADHD. I can see several athletes, not just NFL players, needing that medication. the NBA’s JaVale McGee recently announced that he suffered from the disorder but didn’t like to take his medicine.
