A Colleyville jeweler has dropped his lawsuit against Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and his adviser David Wells. Eleow Hunt claimed in his most recent filings that Bryant and Wells - a former bail bondsman who co-signed many of the contracts - owed him $129,500 for jewelry and loans made between January 2009 and July 2010. An earlier filing in the case claimed the total owe was $600,000, which appeared to also included jewelry purchase contracts Wells didn't co-sign. Court documents did not give details of the settlement. A filing Tuesday requesting the dismissal said the "parties have determined that this controversy was the result of a mutual misunderstanding and, after a period of businesslike negotiations, have resolved their differences to their mutual satisfaction."

Romo: Overanalyzing my December stats is "silly"
IRVING -- Whether it's a near flawless November record or a 7-10 mark during December, Tony Romo doesn't seem to be encouraged or deflated by his win-loss percentage during those two months of the season.
Following practice Thursday, the Cowboys quarterback may have described it best when he said, "I think it just happens that way sometimes. Weird stats come about....
Romo, Cowboys hitting on all cylinders
Tony Romo is on a tremendous roll right now, playing some of the best football of his career over the last few weeks. It sure seemed that if you combine his mastery of the 4th Quarter against Washington to what we saw in the 2nd half against Miami, there is reason to believe that Romo is rounding into a form that makes him a big threat in the NFC to put the Cowboys in a great spot...

Cowboys QB Kitna out at least 2 more games
Dallas Cowboys backup quarterback Jon Kitna is expected to miss at least two more games due to back problems.

The 39-year-old Kitna has attempted only 10 passes this season, but he started the final nine games a year ago after Tono Romo suffered...

Jones: Cowboys no longer have the ‘flu’
The Cowboys (7-4) enter the final month of the season riding high after vaulting into first place in the NFC East thanks to a four-game winning streak that included back-to-back pulsating wins.
A win at Arizona (4-7) on Sunday would give Dallas its longest winning streak since claiming seven in a row over the middle of the 2007 season. It would also guarantee the Cowboys a .500...
Cowboys Entering House of Horrors
The Dallas Cowboys have done exactly what they were supposed to do over the last month — win games against inferior opponents.
This was the stretch when the Cowboys were supposed to surpass the New York Giants in the NFC East, winning four straight games for the first time in seemingly ever.
Now they'll be going for five straight on Sunday when they travel to the desert...

Cowboys’ draft disasters aren’t keep Garrett up at night
With the release of Akwasi Owusu-Ansah on Wednesday, the Cowboys have only six players on their active roster from the combined 18 they selected in the 2009 and 2010 NFL drafts. Only two – wider receiver Dez Bryant and linebacker Sean Lee – start.
So is Jason Garrett concerned? Not a bit.
“There are a lot of different ways to put your team together and to acquire talent...
