Found November 03, 2012 on NFL Trade Rumors:
According to Larry Holder and Mike Triplet, Saints defensive tackle and former 1st round pick Sedrick Ellis will not return to the Saints in 2013. Ellis was the 7th overall pick in the 2008 draft and will be an unrestricted free agent this season. However, the overall feeling is that Ellis has not lived up to the expectations of such a high draft pick (134 tackles and 12.5 sacks over four and half seasons) and the team could be ready to move on. Holder believes that unless Ellis accepts “bottom basement bucks” the former LSU Tiger will be out of New Orleans.
