The Buffalo Bills believe they have found their quarterback to lead them to the playoffs in Ryan Fitzpatrick, now it is time for the team to put and keep weapons around him. One of Fitzpatrick’s favorite targets during his time in Buffalo has been Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson.  Johnson is coming off a strong 2011 campaign that saw him catch 76 balls for 1,004 yards and seven touchdowns. As great as he as been for Buffalo the last few years it is very important that Buffalo management make the right move this off- season, as the star receiver will be a free-agent for the first time in his young career. GM Buddy Nix has announced that signing the receiver is a  top priority and that the team wants to have him back. With that said, Johnson on the other hand is taken a less direct, more hands-off approach to the new deal.  The receiver told buffalobills.com recently that he is letting his agent do the work on the contract.  He also added that he doesn’t need or want to...

Dareus on leadership

While injuries were largely chalked up as a main reason for Buffalo’s slide out of playoff contention in 2011, Marcell Dareus said it was the leadership they lost to injury that perpetuated the slide which went seven games. “The locker room felt different,” Dareus said in a SiriusXM NFL Radio appearance Thursday. ”I can’t even explain it because I had never...

Great tribute to Bills Wall of Famer

His career cut short by injury probably isn’t long enough to merit more consideration for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but Alex Hickey make a good case for Bills Wall of Famer Tom Sestak, arguably the best defensive tackle the franchise has ever seen. If you consider yourself a true Bills fan, but were too young to remember Sestak I encourage you to read this piece from the American Press.

2011 Buffalo Bills season in review

How did the Buffalo Bills wind up 6-10? At the midway point of 2011 they were 5-2. They would only win one more game, and lose seven in a row. Not good at all. This one perplexes me a bit, as we have seen some questionable decisions be made by the management but they seem to have talent. Why it never all comes together for them who can say? Of course I can try to say, but that is...
