Bush League Chronicle:
The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers boast one of the most intense rivalries in all of football. So, you can only imagine what everyday life is like for a displaced Packers fan living in Chicago.Such is the case for 8-year old and second-grader Mason. Her parents hail from the great state of Wisconsin, which means she and her sisters were born Packers fans. Recently, Bears mascot "Staley Da Bear" paid her elementary school a visit for an assembly on nutrition. From Mason's mother courtesy of Chicagoist Daily:This assembly was a big day for my girls because of all the heat they take (all in good fun of course). The funniest thing about it, is Mason is deathly afraid of anything in a mascot uniform, but I guess she thought this was her duty as a Packers fan. Her exact words to Staley were. "Deal with it, Bro!"The Packers (9-4) and the Bears (8-5) are set to collide at Solider Field this Sunday with first place in the NFC North on the line. I guess we know who Mason will be rooting for.Photo courtesy of Jennifer Hillery.

Finals have brought on a crazy week so please excuse the briefness of this article.
The Green Bay Packers will look to wrap up the division title against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
Here are some key notes and match ups to watch for.
The Packers must get the same running success they had last week against the Lions. The Bears defense is one of the best in the league so that...
GREEN BAY, Wis. The war of words between the Packers and Bears leading into their Sunday matchup continues to escalate.
One day after Green Bay tight end Jermichael Finley said that Chicago linebacker Brian Urlacher is "playing a little slow" and that the Bears aren't "losing too much" if the 13-year veteran is not on the field, Urlacher's teammates...
When the Green Bay Packers take on the Chicago Bears in a key NFC North divisional battle on Sunday, they will apparently still have to do so far less than 100 percent. Not that any team is at full health during Week 15 of the NFL season, but injuries have decimated Green Bay this season. They will still be without a few integral parts this week, but the good news is that they may...
Greg Jennings thinks Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall is a genius.
Marshall had made headlines one day earlier when he went off on the rival Green Bay Packers during his weekly media availability. But it was something Marshall said later that Jennings found brilliant: Marshall's attempt to bait the Packers into matching their cornerbacks up with him man-to-man.
A man accused of robbing a South Loop convenience store of two $2 bills early this morning while brandishing a machine pistol and sporting a distinctive tattoo has been charged, police said.
Austin Randall, 23, of the 9300 block of South Paxton Avenue in the Far South Side’s Pill Hill neighborhood, was charged with armed robbery, possession of cannabis and defacing a firearm...
While the Green Bay Packers have ruled wide receiver Jordy
Nelson and safety Charles Woodson out for this weekend’s contest against the
Chicago Bears, linebacker Clay Matthews is expected to return for the club.
Matthews was a full participant in Friday’s practice as he
appears to be nearly fully recovered from a hamstring injury that’s sidelined
him the past few weeks...
Idiot Noun A stupid person. A mentally handicapped person. This has become a term this week being used by NFL players. The most recent occurence happened in the lead up to this weekends clash between division rivals, the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers. Jermichael Finley made some odd comment about how the Bears [...]
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Construction work at Lambeau Field sparked a minor fire that caused about 5,000 in damage to the Green Bay Packers stadium.
WLUK-TV reports workers were cutting a beam near the fourth floor Wednesday when sparks landed inside a wall, igniting foam insulation.
The area was evacuated. One firefighter suffered a minor back injury.
Green Bay Fire Lt. Nick Craig...
Green Bay knows that Chicago's passing attack begins and ends with Brandon Marshall, which is why they will attempt to shut him down Sunday and force the other Bears wideouts to beat them.
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The 186th edition of the 91-year rivalry between the Packers (9-4) and Bears (8-5) will have it all Sunday when the two teams meet at Soldier Field (noon on FOX). Green Bay can win the NFC North title with a victory, there are significant playoff implications for both teams and the buildup to the game has included plenty of trash talk.
"I don't like the...
