Sean McDermott keeps his job. I'm okay with Andy keeping McDermott around. I'm going to write my SB Nation Philly column on McDermott this week to fully explore the topic. Here's the short version. We finished 12th in yards allowed. We were among league leaders in INTs and takeaways. McDermott isn't incompetent. When a coach can get his players to have some success he's got to get credit for that. The problem for Sean is that the Eagles have played good defense for 30 or so years. Good numbers in a couple of categories doesn't outweigh the points allowed, Red Zone defense, and critical failures that we've seen in the last two years. Sean isn't fully to blame, but I hope he understands that he is part of the problem. Adjust accordingly or update your resume. QB situation. Andy wants to keep both of his QBs. Can you say "delusional"? There is no way Kevin Kolb sits quietly for another year. Andy needs to embrace this situation ...
