According to NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora recently released Stanford Routt is scheduled to visit Houston later this week to discuss his future. According to La Canfora:

Routt was recently released from the Oakland Raiders after he re-signed with the Raiders for three years for $31.5 million dollars in 2010. Routt teamed up with Nnamdi Asomugha in 2010 to form one of the best cornerback duo’s in the NFL. Routt was drafted by the Raiders in 2005 in the 2nd round (38th overall) out of the University of Houston. The Austin native went to Connally High School where he was a football and track star, and eventually went to Houston to be a two sport college athlete. At Houston, he was an All-American track athlete and went on to turn some head at the NFL combine where he ran a 4.27 second, 40-yard dash in 2005.
