If you actually saw the new jerseys then you know that headline is a complete lie. And if you were as pumped for Nike’s new Elite 51 NFL jerseys to be unveiled as a fat kid is to get his Easter jellybeans, then you were probably pretty bummed when the only thing that really changed on them was the Reebok logo is now a Nike swoosh.
But really, the Steelers’ unis didn’t need to be changed at all? The Steelers are a classic, like the Packers; their jerseys should stay the same…forever. The new unis are exactly the same except for the style – kind of like when the NHL switched to the Reebok EDGE jerseys a few year’s back. They’re a similar look only they’re made from some hi-tech space-age material that’s supposed to make players faster, stronger and better, but really they just look new.

A report from Howard Balzer of ESPN Radio is that Ramon Foster has signed his RFA Tender. Foster was signed as a restricted free agent and was given the one year $1.26 million offer. Looks like Drew Stanton just can’t catch a break.
According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians wants the team to sign Byron Leftwich as the back-up quarterback to help out Andrew Luck (or Robert Griffin III) for next season as they prepare for their rookie year.
