Steelers Sign Casey Hampton to New Deal

If you can stop the run, you’ll increase your chances of winning a lot of games in the National Football League. The Pittsburgh Steelers have both stopped the run and won a lot of football games over the years—this past decade thanks largely to the run-stuffing efforts of nose tackle Casey Hampton. Today the Steelers signed Casey to a three-year, $21.3 million deal that should keep him in Pittsburgh for the rest of his career. Casey is a five-time Pro Bowler.
