The Steelers signed Jeremy Kapinos to replace Sepulveda. Kapinos has bounced around the league a bit but spent significant time with the Green Bay Packers last season where he averaged just less than 44 yards per punt on 66 punts. His most recent venture was to the Colts for the week that their punter was suspended for his drunken debacles, and Kapinos averaged 44.5 yards on four punts.
Sepulveda was officially placed on IR today and will have surgery on his torn ACL on Friday.
