The Pittsburgh Steelers have now released their first injury report of the 2013 season on Wednesday for their upcoming game Sunday against the Tennessee Titans and as expected, it shows that running back Le'Veon Bell (foot) did not practice. In addition to Bell being listed, tight end Heath Miller (knee), linebacker Jarvis Jones (chest) and fullback Will Johnson (hamstring) all were listed as being limited participants Wednesday. Miller is not expected to play Sunday against the Titans as he is just now starting to ramp up his work following his removal from the PUP list over the weekend. Head coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday during his press conference that they will monitor how Miller's body responds to increased work over the course of the next few weeks. Jones being limited is probably not too surprising but Tomlin made it clear on Tuesday that his first-round draft pick would be on the field against the Titans. Jones suffered an injury to his chest in the third preseason game, but did practice Monday. He said after practice he is fine and will be good to go Sunday. As for Johnson, he appears to be questionable for Sunday as he continues to rehab the hamstring injury that he suffered in the preseason finale against the Carolina Panthers. Tomlin did not rule him out on Tuesday and made it clear that they will leave the light on for him as long as possible. According to Jim Wexell of Steel City Insider, Johnson said Wednesday his hamstring is currently 80-85%. He did not scrimmage today, but did run sprints on the side.
