PLAYERS: Jason Garrett
TEAMS: Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys Vice President Stephen Jones was asked if Jason Garrett is coaching for his future. “I won’t even comment on that. Period. That’s ridiculous,” Jones said, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. I think it’s ridiculous to think that Garrett’s job isn’t in jeopardy.  Jones answered the question exactly the way he was supposed to.   var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })(); sr_adspace_id = 1000005525107; sr_adspace_width = 300; sr_adspace_height = 250; sr_ad_new_window = true; sr_adspace_type = "graphic";

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on Dez Bryant: He’s worth it

The Dallas Cowboys are entertaining if they are not anything else. As the team tries to rebound from their current 3-5 dilemma, there are no shortages of critics that are firing shots at everyone from coach Jason Garrett, to quarterback Tony Romo to the at-times rambunctious wide receiver Dez Bryant.   Please Click Here To Read This Story

With Murray Out, Cowboys better Run No Huddle

The Misery Bowl kicks off at 3:15 cst, and by the end of the game either the Cowboys or Eagles fan bases will be put out of their misery – the loser will be planning ahead for 2013. Its been a torturous season for Cowboys Nation, and by most accounts this game is the end-all be-all for the season. This game is up for grabs. I would have liked to think the Cowboys will win this...

Jimmy Johnson has a lot to say about Cowboys as they gear up for 'Desperation Bowl' against Eagles

A tale of two cities. A tale of two head coaches fighting for their jobs. One will triumph. One will scratch their heads as they look at their dismal 3-6 record. It's Desperation Bowl 2012. The outcome of this game will undoubtedly force one of these teams to make some tough decisions going forward, and former Dallas head coach Jimmy Johnson doesn't like what he sees...

Jimmy Johnson rips Jerry Jones for GM comments

Former Dallas Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson says Cowboys owner Jerry Jones takes way to much credit as being the general manager during the team's Super Bowl years in the 1990s. "That is completely a bunch of crock," said Johnson on the Dan Patrick Show Wednesday. "Jerry started putting all those titles on himself after I left. He didn't call himself general...

Underachieving Cowboys hope for 2nd-half change

The season that once looked so promising for the Dallas Cowboys is halfway done. After losses in four of their last five games, the Cowboys have plenty work to do just to have another .500 season. As for any chance of making the playoffs, that already seems like a big stretch since only one NFC team has won fewer games than Dallas (3-5) at this point. Cowboys executive vice president...

Cowboys Need To Figure Things Out On Offense

Contrary to what everyone was saying at the beginning of the season, this is not the Cowboys year to win the Super Bowl. After a massive win against the New York Giants in the first week of the season, the Cowboys took a quick fall and have lost four of their last five games. While their defense has stayed relatively consistent throughout the year, their offense needs to get on track...

Roger Staubach believes Jerry Jones needs to give up some of his duties

Dallas Cowboys great Roger Staubach believes owner Jerry Jones needs to delegate his role as general manager. “Jerry is trying real hard,” Staubach told ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike on Friday.. “He goes back to the old days when they won three Super Bowls. I think the formula is he’s got to find a medium ground and delegate more authority.” Jones already made it clear...

Eagles-Cowboys Who Will End the Others Season?

Dallas leads the regular season all-time series 56–44.  But when the Cowboys and Eagles play all bets are off.  No team is safe ever. The Cowboys and Eagles play twice in the next 4 weeks.  What happens in four weeks most likely will not mean a thing for the team that loses this week.  Whichever team falls to 3-6 will have their season officially over. So which team will get...

Cowboys VP Stephen Jones says team is going in a good direction

One of the problems with the Cowboys is that they are like alcoholic who continuously denies they have a problem, so they can never get the proper help. Take these comments from Jerry Jones’ son Stephen Jones for example via the Cowboys Corner. Is Jason Garrett coaching for his future? “I won’t even comment on that. Period. That’s ridiculous,” Jones said. What...

Cowboys’ Rushing Statistics Are Among the Worst in Team History

BALTIMORE, MD – OCTOBER 14: Quarterback Tony Romo #9 hands the ball off to running back DeMarco Murray #29 of the Dallas Cowboys during the first half against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on October 14, 2012 in Baltimore, Maryland. Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles: Week 10 NFL Pick

Dallas Cowboys (3-5) at Philadelphia Eagles (3-5) Last week, I enjoyed a relatively successful week. I hit 4 of my 6 big plays and went 9-5 overall, but it could have been a lot better. I hit my first 4 big plays and if I had hit my last 2, I would have enjoyed my best week ever, rather than just a strong week. I also was undefeated straight up until the Giants lost to the Steelers...

The word of the day for both Eagles and Cowboys---"urgent"...

Prior to Monday night's debacle in New Orleans, the Eagles were listed as -2.5 point favorites over the visiting Dallas Cowboys (3-5) for this Sunday...but now the Vegas money is pouring in for the Cowboys, making the Birds a 1-point underdog in their own house. Perfect. In a game which features two teams struggling to score points on offense, and two quarterbacks who...

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles: Three Bold Predictions

In my (biased) mind, I truly think the Eagles vs. Cowboys is the greatest rivalry in the NFL today. Each time the two teams meet, there is always something on the line.Last year, the Cowboys playoff spot counted on a win in Week 16; unfortunately they lost after Tony Romo went down early on with a hand injury. This year, they will play for their playoff lives.Sitting at 3-5, neither...
