BDLSports:
WR Steve Smith of the Carolina Panthers has taken his professionalism to another level. Not only does he suit up every Sunday during the NFL season to be one of the best Recievers in the league, but has also decided to put on a suit and report to work 2 times a week as an intern with Morgan Stanley.
Steve has done this without any special treatment or privileges, according to Derek Copeland (First Vice President/financial planner) Steve "was going through a standard program all new financial advisers would need to complete." Throughout the process - what was Steve's attitude: "I wanted to absorb all I could,"
Im sure he is not the only one that has taken this path, but it is great to see players do things opposite of the reputation given them by most people even as the money, salaries and contracts continue to increase.
