Ian Rapoport reports that there’s still a “real chance” the Ravens could release ILB Rolando McClain following his latest arrest.
This comes just a day after Ravens assistant GM Eric DeCosta said that he believes McClain ”warrants a second chance.”
According to Rapoport, DeCosta’s comments were about their decision sign him in the first place and they’ve yet to make a decision whether or not he’ll be retained.
McClain, 23, has numerous issues off the field, so it wouldn’t be all that surprising for a team like the Ravens to move on. Although, they could use some additional help at inside linebacker next season. We’ll have more as the news becomes available.
