This is a time of giving thanks right? OK, well now would be a good time to thank me for giving you the Broncos and Dolphins last week. You’re welcome.

Want to see what Jolly Ole’ Saint Slick has in his sack of goodies for this week? Peep game after the jump: Kicker Recommendations
When deciding on free agent kickers, you want to look for someone who is on a team that will move the ball, but has issues scoring TDs (i.e.- a team with a good passing game but a poor short-field running attack). A kicker’s skills and weather conditions are other factors to consider.

It was an interesting Week 11. Only three kickers in Yahoo! fantasy scored double-digit points, making it a pretty uneventful week for them. Regardless, your boy still holds a solid average for “Stream Pies” on the year.

Week 11 Results (Points calculated with Yahoo! default settings)

Steven Hauschka: 6 points
Dan Carpenter: Did not play (injury)
Josh Brown: 1 point
Josh Scobee: 5 points
Average for top ranked K in Y! scoring: 11.4 points per game (David Akers)
Average for “Stream Pies:” 8.45 points per recommendation

Week 12 Recommendations
1- Nick Folk vs. BUF
2- Josh Scobee vs. HOU
3- Lawrence Tynes at NO
4- Graham Gano at SEA

Team Defense (DEF) Recommendations
As mentioned above, the Broncos and Dolphins came up with huge efforts to help bring some respectability to our “Stream Pies” average. **** should keep up this week with some fine recommendations for the holiday weekend. Gobble gobble *****.

Week 11 Results (Points calculated with Yahoo! default settings)
Jacksonville Jaguars: 14 points allowed, 2 sacks, INT = 5 points
St. Louis Rams: 24 points allowed, 4 sacks, 2 INTs = 8 points
Denver Broncos: 13 points allowed, 3 sacks, INT, fumble recovery, TD = 17 points
Arizona Cardinals: 23 points allowed, INT, 2 blocked kicks = 6 points
Miami Dolphins: 6 points allowed, 2 sacks, 2 INTs, blocked kick, TD = 21 points
Average for top ranked DEF in Y! scoring: 12.6 (SF and CHI)
Average for “Stream Pies:” 7.56 points per recommendation

Week 12 Recommendations
Atlanta Falcons vs. MIN
The Falcons are owned in 29-percent of Yahoo! leagues, making them just able to quality for a spot here on “Stream Pies.” Perfect timing considering they will be facing an Adrian Peterson-less Vikings team that struggles to put up points on the road. With Jonathan Babineaux healthy and wreaking havoc on the D-line, the Falcons should make short work of the Vikes.

Arizona Cardinals at STL
People keep sleeping on the Cardinals defense but they do three critical things that lead to big fantasy performances: they put pressure on the QB, can score on special teams, and have playmakers on the defensive side of the ball. Sure the defensive unit overall is a porous one, but when they are facing poor offenses like St. Louis, fantasy owners should be all over them.

Seattle Seahawks vs. WAS
Though Rex Grossman looked good in Week 11, he’s always one poor start away from being out of the NFL. Washington travels to Seattle, which is one of the noisiest and toughest places to play on the road. Sure the Seahawks don’t strike fear into the hearts of fantasy owners, but they are one of the better defenses against the run (3.45 YPC) and with the Redskins having identity issues in the running game, the onus will be on Grossman to lead the offense. Expect Grossman to be rattled by the deafening crowd noise from the Seattle faithful. Another reason to start Seattle? Leon Washington has yet to break off a special teams TD despite piling on plenty of yardage. This is as good a time as any for Washington to bust out.

Carolina Panthers at IND
The Panthers run defense has been atrocious this year, but Carolina should have a fine fantasy performance from a defensive perspective. For starters, almost all of their awful efforts against opposing RBs have come against teams who can air it out. With the Colts, such respect does not need to be paid to a team deciding on whether they should start Curtis Painter or Dan “0-16” Orlovsky. That should allow Carolina to shut down the scrub running game of the Colts, though that might not be necessary. This could very well be a blowout thanks to Indy’s horrific defense, in which case the Colts might be forced to air it out while playing from behind. No matter how this game breaks down, the Panthers should be in for a quality fantasy performance against the worst team in football.

At “Stream Pies,” we are serving up gooey loads of knowledge. Here, we’ll provide invaluable streaming advice on kickers and DEF teams who are owned in less than 30-percent of Yahoo! leagues. We list the options in order of best option to “least-best” option (with the strongest recommendations starting at the top).We also include ast week’s suggestions and full season results. Points are based on default Yahoo! settings.
