You’ve no doubt heard of the Manning Face, well this is the Romo Face. It occurred directly after Tony Romo backed into his end zone and was subsequently sacked. Jessica Simpson is probably responsible for this. New York Giants Running Back Brandon Jacobs also jumped over a Dallas Cowboys‘ defender and did his best superman impression.  JUMP!

Have something from the NFL today that we missed? Spotted a hot chick we need to investigate? Do your thing.

Dallas Cowboys team report: Tony Romo can't be faulted for collapse

(source feed provided no summary content for this entry)

Cowboys lead Giants 7-5 after first quarter

Tony Romo surpassed 20,000 career yards passing with a 12-yard touchdown pass to tight end John Phillips and the Dallas Cowboys took a 7-5 lead over the New York Giants after the first quarter Sunday night. Cowboys rookie running back DeMarco Murray had to be helped off the field at the end of an 8-yard run. It appeared that his right ankle got rolled under a defender while being...

Tony Romo: Miles Austin Lost Sure Touchdown Ball in the Lights

After blowing a 34-22 lead to the Giants with under six minutes to go, Tony Romo acted like a model team leader by taking responsibility for his team’s loss. Just kidding. He threw teammate Miles Austin under the bus. The Cowboys had the ball after allowing the Giants to score a touchdown to make it [...]

Who to blame: Dallas edition

The Cowboys have begun their annual meltdown and Bill Barnwell is looking for the scapegoat.  I agree with most of his assessments except (and I never thought I'd say this) blaming Tony Romo for the loss.  Romo gave up a horrific safety and missed Miles Austin once but other than that had a pretty good game.  In the end however the Cowboys lost because they couldn't stop...

Giants-Cowboys Facts, Figures and Trends

The Cowboys, with Tony Romo at QB, have exactly one playoff game. The Giants with Eli Manning at QB, have won four – all in the same postseason. In three other postseasons, they were one and done. To say that both still have much to prove, even though their numbers are impressive, is an understatement. Eli needs to show the world he can still win the big game for the Blue. Romo...

Cowboys blow lead, possibly playoff chances

It doesn't get much worse than that. In the biggest game of the season, the Cowboys choked it away, falling to the New York Giants, 37-34, on Sunday night. Here are my thoughts: 1.) This one will sting for a long time. It was such a bad loss that Jerry Jones didn't even take questions after the game. He made about a 30-second statement and walked off. Defensive coordinator...

I Hate When WAGs Where Their “Man’s” Jersey

Well, it didn’t take very long to find my new pet-peeve. It came to fruition on Sunday night, with Candace Crawford bouncing around like a ******* in Tony Romo’s jersey. I hate it. I hate when the WAG wears the husbands jersey in the crowd. It irritates me. I understand I’m probably a cold-hearted, negative jerkoff, but you don’t like what you don’t like. Yeah, it’s...

Cowboys taking yet another December dive

With the Rangers, it was August. As soon as the August heat set in, NFL training camps were in full swing and kids began to go back to school, the Rangers would take an annual nosedive out of contention in the AL West. To their credit, the Rangers have blown the August jinx out of the water the past two seasons with trips to the World Series. Can't win in Arlington because...

The Football Gods Hate the Dallas Cowboys

The football gods giveth and the football gods taketh away. How else do you explain the Dallas Cowboys’ Jekyl and Hyde win-loss record from November to December? No matter what the Cowboys did wrong they couldn’t lose in November and now it seems that no matter what they do right they can’t win in December. I mean look at Tony Romo’s numbers from the last two games. He has...

Dallas Cowboys Take Giant Step Backward in Loss to New York on SNF: Time to Point Fingers

It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. And I am still having a hard time believing what happened in this tale of two cities, two teams, and two football fates. With a 12-point lead and just over five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the Dallas Cowboys managed to squander what would have been a formidable division lead and lose a gut-wrenching, heart...

Coronation of Eli

You look at the quarterback ratings right now and see that Eli Manning is ranked only seventh in the league, three spots behind Tony Romo, two spots back of Matt Schaub of the Texans.

Cow-boys amongst men

If the current Cowboys season was a movie, it would be suspenseful from start to finish.  They have produced numerous nail-biting games with 9 games being decided under 7 points with all of them having game-winning scores within the last 2 minutes (or overtime). And even though the movie may not be finished, we can start to evaluate how good these Cowboys...

Giants/Cowboys: Five things to watch

So the Giants season has come down to this: win at Dallas and the fate of becoming NFC champions is basically in your own hands. If the Giants were to win, they would carry all the momentum in the NFC East race and would at least partially redeem some of the disappointment in losing their last four games. Sunday night will no doubt be a showdown. It will be a classic battle of wills...
