Pretty much everyone involved in the Seahawks/Browns game. Seattle quarterback Charlie Whitehurst leads the parade, with his 12-of-30, 97-yard performance. The Seahawks were able to amass just 137 total yards on the day, and the worst thing about that is their opponent only beat them by three.
I like some of what this guy did. He showed some nice elusiveness at the end, and he managed to evade custody for a while. But you're either a streaker or you're not. No shirt doesn't count. I appreciate the effort, but this guy set the standard for all future streakers. Sorry, England. You're behind now.
Also, while we're here, an MVP vote goes to YouTube, too. I abhor the American networks' policy of not showing people who run onto the field. It's happening, it's live, and I demand to see it. The idea behind the policy is to not reward the intruders for their behavior, but come on -- it's tremendously entertaining for everyone at home. Besides, ...

Charlie Whitehurst didn't play well on Sunday, but is it too early to give up on him as a viable option as the team's starting quarterback? (AP Photo)
After Sunday’s 6-3 loss to the Browns, Tarvaris Jackson’s popularity in Seattle may be at an all-time high.
That’s not saying much, of course. But the way Charlie Whitehurst played in place of the injured...
A brief set of pictures from the game Aside from the horrible, boring, ****** loss I had a great time at the game- Let's get the ugliness out of the way first...Charlie Whitehurst is getting hammered from all angles right now, so I really don't want to pile on- He stepped up last year against the Rams and got us a divisional title. He will always be able to say he was instrumental...
Charlie Whitehurst will start at quarterback Sunday for the Seattle Seahawks, who listed Tarvaris Jackson as inactive with a strained pectoral muscle.
Jackson started the first five games but was not expected to play at Cleveland after missing practice during the week. Whitehurst relieved him last week and was 11-of-19 for 149 yards and a TD in a 36-25 win over the New York Giants...
Charlie Whitehurst is expected to get the start at quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks in Cleveland on Sunday.
Seahawks blogger Brett B points out Sunday the Seattle Seahawks didn't do much to help their own cause. They managed a pathetic 137 yards of offense, had the ball for only 17 minutes, couldn't get open for backup QB Charlie Whitehurst, who was filling in for Tarvaris Jackson, and then there's Charlie. He was horrible. He completed 12 of 30 passes for 97 yards and couldn...
After watching the Seattle Seahawks vs. Cleveland Browns game on Sunday Insider Steve explains why moving forward its a slam dunk case. Tarvaris Jackson is better than Charlie Whitehurst for the 2011 Seattle Seahawks at QB. Yesterday's performance by Charlie Whitehurst set the new benchmark for futility...
Sunday in Cleveland just might be the best opportunity for Charlie Whitehurst to show that he's a viable, desirable starting quarterback in the NFL.
Three things we learned
Charlie Whitehurst is a backup, not salvation.Remember last year when there was a camp of fans adamant Whitehurst would be an improvement on Matt Hasselbeck. Then Whitehurst started a Week 9 game against the New York Giants, a game the Seahawks lost 41-7. Remember three weeks ago when there was a camp of fans adamant Whitehurst would be an improvement over...
There were six quarterbacks who got their first starts of the year on Sunday and, not surprisingly, only one of their teams walked away with a victory. I will take a look at each of their performances:
Charlie Whitehurst, Seattle: 12/30, 97 yards, 0 TD, 1 interception
While Whitehurst's stats were abysmal, the Seahawks' overall offensive performance was even worse. This...
(AP) — Charlie Whitehurst played well enough two weeks ago in relief of injured starter Tarvaris Jackson that, for a bit, the debate about who should be the Seattle Seahawks' starting quarterback was rekindled.
Seattle's offensive slog in Sunday's 6-3 loss wasn't among the worst performances in team history.

Good morning. I’m on my way back to Seattle. We’ll hold our Monday Morning QB live chat at 1 p.m., so stop by and join in the conversation. Meanwhile, check out what is being said about the Seattle Seahawks 6-3 loss to Cleveland on Sunday. My game story deals with Seattle’s struggles offensively, including quarterback Charlie Whitehurst’s poor performance, perhaps answering...
Dave Boling of The News Tribune writes that Charlie Whitehurst demonstrated why he is a backup with his performance against Cleveland on Sunday, and that Seattle Seahawks fans should be wishing Tarvaris Jackson a speedy recovery. “Boling: All those Seahawks fans fomenting a quarterback controversy in recent weeks likely spent much of Sunday afternoon united in a common sentiment...
