There will not be any discipline for the suspected egg thrower that nailed the New Orleans Saints team buses last Wednesday at Atlantas Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
That is because the lone suspect in the case has quit his job.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports a restaurant worker at the airport quit after he was questioned by police about the incident. The worker was not identified by airport spokesman DeAllous Smith and the Department of Aviation has closed the case.
According to the report, three or four eggs were thrown at a bus from the tarmac as the Saints were departing for their hotel the night before the game at the Georgia Dome. Source: National Football Post Attached Thumbnails

Now, there is an attention grabbing headline. Of course, I don’t mean to deride Drew Brees – arguably one of the greatest to ever play the game and currently the owner of the best single season yardage total in league history and the longest streak of consecutive games with a touchdown pass ever. However, Brees struggled against the Falcons this past week and at least part of...
Andrew Juge of the Saints Nation stops by to break down the disaster in Atlanta. He compares watching it to watching the Heath Shuler led Saints. He and Ralph discuss if the Saints would have been better off if they had played the good teams on their schedule early in the season and Andrew explains why the offensive line has struggled and what it might look like next year.
The latest round of appeal hearings in the NFL's bounty investigation concluded Monday evening following witness appearances by former Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress, Saints assistant head coach Joe Vitt and linebacker Jonathan Vilma.
Now Vilma, Saints defensive end Will Smith and two other players await a ruling by former NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue on whether...
Playoffs? PLAYOFFS?!?! You kidding me?!?!?! I just hope we can win a game!
That's pretty much how I, and all of you, should feel about the Saints' chances at this point. BUT, I'm not one to give up until there's no mathematical chance. Ever if there's a sliver of hope and 785 things have to happen in perfect order for the Saints to get in, I will continue...
The New Orleans Saints know they are long shots to make the playoffs even if they beat the New York Giants on Sunday.
Still, they haven't given up - taking inspiration from the Giants, who made a postseason run from a position similar to one in which the Saints find themselves now.
''We saw what they did last year,'' Saints cornerback Jabari Greer said. '...
We don’t exactly know why NBA Commissioner David Stern was at the Saints practice, but we do know he broke down the huddle with quarterback Drew Brees at the Saints practice, Wednesday.

For the second straight week MarijnPessers has won the Saints Nation Guru award and it's vaulted him alone atop the standings with two victories this season. As Drew Brees has completely imploded, Marijn has done the exact opposite and gotten hot with his prognostication skills. I can only be left to assume he made a deal with the devil to sacrifice Drew Brees performance for...
