In news that really shouldn't surprise anybody in the Tampa Bay area anymore (which is really sad), this Sunday's game between the Buccaneers and the Chiefs will be blacked out to the local market.

Despite the Bucs taking advantage of the new 85 percent attendance rule this season and being competitive any every game up to this point, Tampa Bay is still having trouble filling Raymond James Stadium.

It looks like things are going to stay that way until the 1-3 Bucs start winning football games.

This is the third regular season game this year that will be blacked out to fans within a 75-mile radius of the stadium.

In fact, the Bucs have only had two regular season games aired on local television in the last three seasons combined. In 2010, the Bucs had all eight games blacked out.

And it may be all eight games again in 2012 unless things turn around in a hurry.

Fans in the Tampa Bay area will instead see the Atlanta Falcons take on the Oakland Raiders.
