Found November 01, 2011 on Roto Arcade:
Curtis Painter and the Colts followed their historically bad Week 7 performance with a not-quite-as-bad-but-still-very-bad Week 8, losing to the Titans by 17 points. With the game flow being what it was — Indy trailed 20-0 at half — Painter finished his day with 49 pass attempts. Thus we find several Colts near the top of the target leader-board, although none were particularly useful to fantasy owners. Pierre Garcon saw another 15 targets on Sunday, which gives him 69 for the season, tied for sixth in the NFL. Reggie Wayne has drawn two more targets on the year, but Garcon has actually topped him every week since Painter took over at quarterback. Pierre leads all players at his position in targets over the past five weeks (48). Basically, Painter loves him like a kitten. It's tough for me to rank Garcon as anything worse than a WR2 while he's receiving so many chances each week. He's clearly tied to a low-yield offense — the Colts have reached 20 points only twice this ...

Kerry Collins Is 99% Sure He'll Retire The NFL At The End Of Season

Indianapolis Colts Quarterback Kerry Collins showed in the earlier weeks of the 2011-2012 NFL season why HE SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN RETIREMENT.Collins is 99% sure HE'LL RETIRE at the end of the NFL season.According to the Indianapolis Star, the 38-year old believes that it's UNLIKELY he'll ever see the football field again, partly due to his ROCKY performance as the starter...

Kerry Collins ’99 percent’ likely to retire

One day after his current team faced his longtime former team, quarterback Kerry Collins indicated that it may be time to call it quits … again. Following the Colts’ 27-10 loss to the Titans on Sunday, Collins said he’s “99 percent sure” that he has taken his last snap as an NFL quarterback, reports. “I’m about 99 percent sure this is going to be it,...

Colts dogs against the Dirty Birds

Is Matty Ice the next Peyton Manning?  No, but he'd look awfully good with a horseshoe on his helmet.  Needless to say, the Accuscore forecast agrees that the Falcons QB improves their chances to win this weekend.

Colts waive OL Michael Toudouze, LB Cody Glenn

The Indianapolis Colts have waived offensive lineman Michael Toudouze from the active roster and released linebacker Cody Glenn from injured reserve.

Colts should draft Andrew Luck, says NFL Network's Mike Mayock

The win-less Indianapolis Colts should draft Andrew Luck if they get the opportunity, Peyton Manning or no Peyton Manning. Tim Tebow of the Denver Broncos is a "long way" from being a starting quarterback in the NFL. And Notre Dame should stay independent rather than join a conference.

Ain't no sunshine

It's pretty hard to imagine Peyton Manning playing behind this offensive line.  When stable they've been very good.  But stability, as Phil Richards writes, has been elusive: "We've had our fair share of injuries up front, that's for sure," Saturday said. "It's interesting that none of them have been yearlong things (with the exception of rookie...

FO DVO Week 8: Dead last

The weekly DVOA has become a dark ritual for me each week.  The Colts continue to slide in rankings:  32 in each category except offense where they weigh in at 24.  It isn't even close.

If available, which NFL teams would be interested in trading for Colts QB Peyton Manning?

As the Indianapolis Colts continue to showcase the fact that they are the worst team in the NFL and with the distinct possibility of being in the driver’s seat for Stanford QB Andrew Luck, veteran QB Peyton Manning‘s future remains uncertain. Last week, several analysts stated that they are hearing that Peyton Manning would never allow the Colts to draft Andrew Luck...

run defense is hard to figureRun defense is hard to figure

It's anybody's guess which of the Indianapolis Colts' defensive personalities will show up Sunday in Lucas Oil Stadium when they try dealing with Atlanta's Michael Turner.
