New England Patriots
One of the biggest winners to come out of day one of the NFL Free Agent signing period was the Tennessee Titans.
Often times it seems like a team has no real direction or focus when it comes to acquiring free agents. This was not the case yesterday in Nashville. The Titans wasted little time bolstering a weak offensive line by acquiring Andy Levitre, one of the most sought after offensive lineman available.
They then one-upped themselves by signing tight end Delanie Walker (pictured) to replace the recently departed Jared Cook. Walker has to be considered an upgrade at the position, as he is far more versatile than Cook and is one of the best special teams players in the NFL.
It doesn’t look like the Titans are done landing impact players. Sources have told Know It All Football that not only are the Titans interested in acquiring Rams receiver Danny Amendola, but he was actually in Nashville on Tuesday.
This is big news, as it looks as though the Titans will try to deal Nate Washing...

Danny Amendola highlights 2012 week 2 (New Patriots WR) (by reneluar)
Jared Cook is drawing interest from as many as seven NFL teams following Tennessee Titans' decision not to give him a franchise tag. One includes the Miami Dolphins according to the Sun-Sentinel:
The Dolphins have been talking to representatives for the NFL's top-tier free-agent tight ends and have put a couple feelers out before Tuesday's signings begin.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) A person familiar with the situation says the Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with Buffalo guard Andy Levitre and San Francisco tight end Delanie Walker to open free agency.
The person spoke to The Associated Press Tuesday on condition of anonymity because the deals both are pending the players passing physicals.
Levitre will help plug a big...
One of the most talented tight ends in this year’s group of free agents wasted little time this free agency period to join another team, and it’s led by a familiar face. Cook, a member of the Tennessee Titans has joined his former head coach Jeff Fisher and the St. Louis Rams. He is considered a highly athletic tight end that was underutilized as a member of the Titans.
The Titans signed a tight end, but he’s nowhere close to the talent they expect to lose. Adam Schefter is reporting that versatile h-back/tight end Delanie Walker has agreed to terms on a 4 year deal with Tennessee.
Tennessee signed former 49ers TE Delanie Walker to a 4-year, 17.5 million deal that included $8.6 million guaranteed.

Breaking News - Fresh off a trip to the Super Bowl, Delanie Walker cashes in, signing a four-year deal with the Tennessee Titans.
NFL Impact - Delanie is one of the NFL’s best blocking players. He is also a phenomenal special teams player. The 49ers used him in all types of packages and positions and he could be one of the most underrated players in the NFL when talking to the...

NFL Impact - The NFC West division has been on fire the past few days. First the Seattle Seahawks brought in wide receiver Percy Harvin in a deal with the Minnesota Vikings. Then the San Francisco 49ers countered that by swinging a deal of their own, dealing with...
According to reports from Mike Reiss of ESPN and Tom Curran of CSNNE.com, the Patriots actually signed St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola on Tuesday, one day before Wes Welker signed with the Broncos and before the Pats announced the agreement with Amendola. The Patriots and Amendola agreed to a five year, $31 million deal with $10 guaranteed, supposedly on Wednesday. However...
The New England Patriots have agreed to terms with receiver Danny Amendola on a deal that would reportedly pay him $31 million over five years, moving quickly after the loss of five-time Pro Bowl selection Wes Welker.
Amendola posted a message on Twitter saying, ''Blessed. Thankful. Excited to get to work. Go Pats.'' Rams coach Jeff Fisher also said Amendola had...
The Tennessee Titans started free agency with a bang and continue to shoot off their gun. Not only did they manage to sign the top guard in Free Agency (Andy Levitre) they also were able to sign an up and coming tight end that can not only block but possesses the speed needed to be a difference maker (Delanie Walker).
Day two the Titans signed running back Shonn Greene. Looking...
Rich Cimini reports that the free agent TE Dustin Keller is in play for the Titans should they lose Jared Cook in the next few days.
This coincides with a previous report that the Titans were keeping an eye on Keller.
Jason La Canfora mentioned earlier this morning that there wasn’t a lot happening in regards to interest in Keller.
He may have to wait a bit before he starts finding...
The New England Patriots will be hosting three major veteran players on Friday.
Former Indianapolis Colts Dwight Freeney
Fair or not, the production of Wes Welker and Danny Amendola will be compared throughout the 2013 season.
On Wednesday, Welker signed with the Broncos after six seasons with the Patriots — five of those seasons ending with more than 100 receptions. Welker will attempt to recreate the success he had in New England with Peyton Manning while the Patriots will look to Amendola, who...
Just hours after Wes Welker‘s departure left a bad taste in almost every New Englander’s mouth, the Patriots have found his replacement.
Danny Amendola has agreed to a five-year contract with the Patriots, according to Adam Schefter. The deal is apparently worth a total $31 million with $10 million in guaranteed money, according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, making for an average...
