San Diego Chargers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
St. Louis Rams
After the Tennessee Titans visited San Diego to take on the Chargers, five main topics stood out to me. The Chargers won 38-10 and improved to 2-0, while the Titans dropped to 0-2.1. Malcolm Floyd has stepped up after the departure of Vincent JacksonFloyd has 10 receptions for 175 yards and a touchdown in the first two games of the season. He is now the number one wide receiver on the depth chart now that former star receiver, Vincent Jackson, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Floyd had a great game vs. the Titans catching six balls for 109 yards and his first touchdown of the season. At 6-5, Floyd plays a lot like Jackson as they are both big physical receivers. He is a constant downfield threat and should have a great season.2. Philip Rivers loves throwing to his tight ends, whoever they are. With Antonio Gates sitting this game out, Randy McMichael started at the tight end position for the Chargers. The backup was former Carolina Panther, Dante Rosario. McMichael is an 11th ye...

In an emotional day in San Diego, the Chargers have officially retired the number 55 from the organization.
Before the home opener against the Tennessee Titans today, Charger great Dan Fouts gave a speech and retired 55 from the team. In honor of Seau's passing, and in memorial to his great years in San Diego.
Seau spent 13 years with the Chargers, 12 of which he was...

It’s only been a few months since Junior Seaus’ passing, and today the San Diego Chargers honored Seau by retiring his number.
Defensive end Antonio Garay, chose to pay tribute to the late Seau by have a face portrait shaved into his head along side the number 55.
While the untimely passing of Seau was a shock to many, Garay who probably didn’t know Seau well, thought enough...
The board of directors at the San Diego Hall of Champions has decided to forego the normal voting process and induct Junior Seau into the Breitbard Hall of Fame on Feb. 25.
Candidates normally aren't eligible to be voted in until two years after their careers end or their deaths.
Seau, the hard-hitting, first-pumping leader of the Chargers for 13 of his 20 NFL seasons, committed...
Philip Rivers looked like a Pro Bowl quarterback against a Titans' defense that was on the field for what seemed like the whole game.Rivers was confident and made some great throws to lead the Chargers to victory for the second straight week.Rivers had never lost to the Titans since becoming a starter in the NFL and nothing changed this week. It seems like he just has their number...
Disappointed. Upset. Frustrated. Embarrassed. Gloomy.
The Tennessee Titans are wallowing in their emotions after an ugly and inept start to the season that has them winless after two games.
They knew the opening month would be tough, having to face Tom Brady and Phillip Rivers - with Matthew Stafford and Matt Schaub looming. Just not this tough.
The Titans have been dominated...
According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, Titans head coach Miike Munchak doesn’t plan on benching second-year quarterback Jake Locker after starting out the season 0-2.
Munchak said he won’t be making any changes at quarterback despite 0-2 start

Now is not the time for the Titans to go back to Mat Hasselbeck. They need to let...
Last week: 11 (-14)
Before the season, I had the Titans as a playoff team. I thought they had a very strong supporting cast and that Jake Locker would be an upgrade over Matt Hasselbeck, who took this team to 9-7 last year as nothing more than a game manager. I felt that Chris Johnson would continue his strong running from the 2nd half of last season (4.8 YPC in the final...
Dante Rosario made the most of Antonio Gates' absence. The tight end had three touchdown catches for the first time in his NFL career and San Diego's defense harassed Jake Locker all afternoon as the Chargers beat the Tennessee Titans for the ninth straight time, 38-10 Sunday.

The Headline: Giants overcome feisty Bucs to get title defense back on track
Well that was a little bit crazy, the Buccaneers looked like they were coming away with an upset win in the stadium against the defending champions before a 25-7 rally in the final quarter gave the Giants a much needed win. Under new coach Greg Schiano the...
