Dallas Cowboy Blog:

Espn is speculating that the Dallas Cowboys might release Terrell Owens. If they do, it will not be because of his production. Although it dropped off slightly this year, TO still had a good year, and his slight drop in production could be traced to the fact that Tony Romo missed three games. However, Terrell's production is not what got him run out of San Francisco and Philadelphia, it is his tendancy to be a polarizing force in the locker room. Jerry Jones is apparently re-evaluating his tendancy to open his ranch to all of the league's malcontents. Pacman was apparently the first casualty of the new attitude, and TO and Tank Johnson could be next. The thought here is that TO should be kept, and that the leaders of the team-Wade Phillips, Jason Garrett, and Tony Romo need to stand up and be more forceful personalities than TO. These individuals need to lead, and they need to convince TO to simply catch passes and score touchdowns. Maybe then, the Dallas Cowboys can celebrate some victories in December.
