Matt Schaub continues to throw interceptions. On Sunday night the Houston Texans pulled Schaub from the game against San Francisco.
Schaub was just 19-of-35 for 173 yards and threw three more interceptions, including yet another pick-six – the fourth straight game that has happened. The pick-six came on his first pass attempt of the night and things did not get much better from there.
Including the Texans playoff loss last season, Schaub has now thrown an interception in eight straight games and 13 overall during that span.
T.J. Yates came in to play quarterback but who will start at quarterback when the Texans play against the St. Louis Rams next week is up in the air at this point.
Head coach Gary Kubiak may feel that his job is tied with winning this season. Kubiak, a former backup, must accesss if he feels Yates can win this season or not.
Decisions, decisions. Who do you think should start for the Texans next week?
BEST OF MAXIM
It's as though they're becoming smarter as the season wears on. This was easily the least stupid week thus far in 2013. Thank goodness for the NFC East. The stupidest pick six, considering the circumstances I hate to pile on Matt Schaub, but when you've become a pick six goat this season, I don't know how you throw this pass on the very first series against...
Yes, Sports Fans, he did it-- Matt Schaub with the interception returned for a touchdown--again. At least this time it was at the beginning of the game and the team has a chance to make up for it.
Fans were burning his jersey after he tied the record for most consecutive games with a pick-6 last week. I can't imagine what they will do now that he...
The Houston restaurant scene really really cares about the Texans. And people named Matt.
Not too long after one burger joint offered a "Pick Six" burger named in ahem honor of Matt Schaub Schaub threw another pick six his fourth-straight game with the nightmare toss. To try and get him right Houston's Little Bitty Burger Barn (pictured above) is helping out all fellow...
Matt Schaub threw a pick-6 for the fourth consecutive game yesterday...setting an NFL record. [TBL]
In his defense -- he was jinxed.

The Houston Texans are in dire need of a Franchise Quarterback because Matt Schaub sure isn’t one. After another embarrassing loss, this time on the road in San Francisco, it is quite obvious that Matt Schaub isn’t going to lead Houston to a Super Bowl anytime soon. In back to back games, Schaub has thrown pick sixes to opposing corner backs, three overall against San Fran and...
For most of the Houston Texans’ cringe-worthy 34-3 loss to San Francisco, it felt like the audience was …
Despite another horrific performance on Sunday night, Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said that Matt Schaub is still their starting quarterback even though he was benched in favor of T.J Yates when the game got out of hand.
Texans coach Gary Kubiak says Matt Schaub is still the team’s starting quarterback.

As much as Houston fans...
Matt Schaub still has his starting job.
10) The Eagles are now, officially, the wost team ever to be tied for the lead in their division after five games9) Jacksonville overcame the loss of their starting LT and QB to nearly cover the spread while occasionally resembling an NFL offense8) Tom Brady failed to throw for a touchdown in a rainy loss at Cincy, proving that the move to Drew Bledsoe was a mistake...
It's been a rough season for the Houston Texans so far; especially when the ball is in the hands of quarterback Matt Schaub. For four games in a row the man has had a ball intercepted and returned for a touchdown. What was supposed to be a Super Bowl season is not looking too good.
Fans need someone else. They need someone dynamic; that can make plays; who will at least try...
Tramaine Brock intercepted Matt Schaub's first pass of the night
and returned it 18 yards for a touchdown, Schaub threw three
interceptions in all before the embattled quarterback got replaced
in the fourth, and the San Francisco 49ers pounded the Houston
Texans 34-3 on Sunday night.
A difficult season just got a little tougher for the Houston Texans. Not only do they have to get Matt Schaub over a horrible case of Pick 6-itus (nasty little disease), but they will have to do it without the services of one of the more reliable tight ends in the NFL.
During the Monday Night Football game rumors began to make the rounds online...
Here’s another tough blow to Matt Schaub’s already shaken confidence.
ESPN.com is reporting that Texans tight end Owen Daniels will likely to miss four to six weeks after he suffered a non-displaced fibula fracture late in Sunday night’s game against the 49ers.
Daniels is tied for the team lead in touchdowns, and probably the only person Matt Schaub can get the ball to right now.
