It's hard to argue that a player in the NFL doesn't have talent because, hey, let's face it; they're in the NFL. Obviously they impressed someone at some point. The older veterans are the obvious premiere players in the league (Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Adrian Peterson) but lately, the young guys seemed to have taken it up a notch. Just look at last year's rookie class for example, the three QBs (Wilson, Luck, Griffin) and even running backs, Alfred Morris and Doug Martin, turned the NFL upside down and showed that the NFL might just be turning into a young man's game.

Tom Brady Says He’s ‘Never Had More Confidence’ Throwing Than He Has This Offseason Under New Coach Tom House

Lost in the worry about where the Patriots will turn for reliable wide receivers and whether the New England defense can hold its own is the fact that Tom Brady is not, in fact, a robot, and that the delivery and statistics that have marked his 13 consistent seasons as an NFL quarterback are not, in fact, givens. Last year was Brady’s first season without longtime personal throwing...

’15 QB Kyle Kearns has some Tom Brady in him

Michigan is dropping in on another 2015 west coast quarterback Thursday, this time in the school of Pleasanton (Calif.) Foothill high school’s Kyle Kearns. GBW catches up with the signal caller to talk Wolverines, performance over the weekend, and visit plans this summer.

The reporting of Tom Brady's comments show how absurd the off-season is.

New England Patriots fans don't get much from the players or coaches in regards to real tidbits for what they think. It's all part of The Patriot Way. Team first, stay on script, follow along with the corporate plan, and say nothing to be construed as "bulletin board material". No one is better than this than Tom Brady. (digression: maybe Belichick) Brady understands...

Tom Brady on Wes Welker, Danny Amendola

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will spend this season answering Wes Welker questions. Welker has been Brady’s most reliable target over his Hall of Fame career and the two are incredibly close personally. When Welker walked out of New England under terse circumstances, Brady was the man in the middle. He spoke with WEEI, Brady was very frank. Brady also spent time...

You’re not gonna see Tom Brady cry over Wes Welker

Tom Brady is moving forward this season, his 14th with the New England Patriots, treating it not much different from others. He is putting in the hardwork, with the same drive and determination that has made him one of the all-time greats at his position. But this year will have a slightly different look than the previous five, as his favorite target, Wes Welker, is now catching...

Brady and Amendola work on chemistry on first day of New England Patriots on field work

According to the Boston Herald Tom Brady and Danny Amendola spent extra time working together on routes and timing yesterday during the New England Patriots first day on the field together, and it seems clear that chemistry and timing with Amendola will be a primary focus of New England’s offseason. Of course, it should be - this relationship will need to succeed if the Pats hope...

Tom Brady talks about Welker, Amendola, Gronk and his Derby celebration

Watch this at WEEI Tom Brady on WEEI is always a must listen for me. He's been on that show for so long that he usually can get pretty candid on the show. Dennis and Callahan is always a never listen for me, except when Brady's on. Some of the more interesting things he goes into is how he says that comparing Danny Amendola to Wes Welker is unfair. He also goes into the...

Tom Brady: I did not demand that the Patriots keep Wes Welker

No matter how he tries to spin it, Tom Brady is not happy that the New England Patriots allowed Wes Welker to sign with the Denver Broncos this offseason. Welker had been Brady’s favorite target for six years, with the two connecting for an average of 112 passes per season. When Brady restructured his contract to give the team more cap space, we all assumed Welker’s return was...

Tom Brady has "never felt better throwing the football"

It's the off-season, so whenever New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady speaks, it's big news. Particularly if it's news that he could be getting even better. "Going into my 14th year, I have never had more confidence in how I am throwing the football," Brady told Sports Illustrated's Peter King at a Best Buddies volunteer event. "I've never...

Wes Welker's first practice as a Bronco

Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker participated in his first organized training activities as a member of the team on Monday. “It was good to get out there and get some work in,” said Welker. The former New England Patriot agreed with the

NFL, Xbox enhancing interactive television viewing

Imagine Sean Payton holding up a Surface tablet instead of a cardboard playsheet on the sideline. Envision Peyton Manning sitting on the bench and dissecting the last series from a variety of camera angles on his hand-held device instead of looking at still photos. Or sitting at home and pulling up real-time highlights on a Sunday afternoon. It's coming. The NFL and Microsoft...

Vote: Who Will Lead the Patriots in Receptions This Season?

It’s never too early to start thinking about football. The Patriots are three days into their first voluntary workouts of 2013, and one of the biggest storylines has been quarterback Tom Brady‘s chemistry with his receivers. Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd were the team’s two most productive wideouts in 2012, and both have found roster spots on other teams. The gaps have been...

The NFL season is still 4 months away and we’re already steering clear of the Bills (Sorry Buffalo)

The 2013 NFL season does not kick off until September, but the Patriots are already one of the hotly tipped teams to do well next season. This should hardly come as a surprise given their dominant stretch of success over the last decade plus, and despite coming up short in the AFC Title Game, New England will still be rated amongst the favorites for the conference crown, as well...
