Those of you who watch “The Bachelorette” (while I feel badly for you) are likely familiar with Emily Maynard. The most recent season of the show, Season 8, ended with Maynard choosing Jef Holm as her fiance. According to a report from Us Weekly, Maynard and Holm got into an “explosive fight” during a recent family vacation after Maynard was caught exchanging explicit text messages with another man. Now, the magazine is claiming that man was Matt Leinart.
The report also claims Holm had a conversation with his ex-girlfriend Kaylee Shepherd, who said he told her the story about Maynard and the Raiders quarterback is true.
“He said the story was 100 percent accurate,” Shepherd insisted. “When she put her phone down, (Jef) picked it up and read through everything … Jef said, ‘It was that pro football guy … She strung me along and was talking to another guy the whole time!’”
The good thing for Leinart here is that news like this keeps him somewhat relevant. The 29-year-old has been a maj

Denver, CO. Although both the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders have identical 1-2 records through three weeks of the 2012 regular season, each team has gotten to this point in entirely different ways. The Broncos have battled through a brutal September schedule, and even though they have dropped two of their first three, they have scored the exact amount of total points that...
Fans of ABC’s The Bachelor know Emily Maynard’s story well. Even those who aren’t fans of the show know Emily Maynard’s story well. She was engaged to Nascar driver Ricky Hendrick, who was killed in a plane crash on the way … Continue reading →
LOOKS ABOUT RIGHT
What you’re about to see is the wedding ceremony of Oakland Raiders fan “Gorilla Rilla”. And if you just take a moment and think about every picture you’ve ever seen of Raiders fans at a Raiders’ game and visualize them at a wedding. That’s what went down.
So in other words, it’s exactly what you’d expect to see at a Raiders fan’s wedding.
First, we have the...
The final NFL injury report is released every Friday, and if you look close enough, and do a little research you can get a sneak peek at the next week’s waiver wire. This article will cover players that could potentially have breakout games in week 4, and will be hot commodities off the waiver wire in week 5. If you have a low waiver priority, you might want to pick up your...
Looks like a personal foul is being called on Bachlorette Emily Maynard. In August, US Weekly had Jef Holm’s brother accused Maynard of texting with another man. Now, the magazine has revealed the texter was Oakland Raider quarterback Matt Leinart.
Holm’s ex Kaylee Shepherd confirms the rumors, “He said the story was 100 percent accurate. When she put her phone down, [Jef...
This week’s Oakland Raiders’ game could be against anyone. The best team, the worst team, or anyone in between. When it is time to play Denver, the focus leads to the Raider’s long extended rivalry with the Broncos. To me, we have to put that in the back of our minds this week. The team [...]
The Pro Football Hall of Fame Committee has announced the newest crop of nominees into their prestigious club. How about former Oakland Raiders, you ask? Among the newest group of possible new members, lie a group of men that have at one point in their careers donned the Silver and Black. Lucky 13 is the [...]
A lot of people may not realize it, but the NFL actually has separate balls for kicking and passing. Quarterbacks do not throw the same footballs that kickers and punters kick and vice versa. Casual fans watching at home have no reason to know the difference, but one might think this information would be important for the officials, right? Not the replacement refs, of course.
Receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey and tight end Richard Gordon will miss Sunday's game for the Oakland Raiders in Denver with injuries.
The team announced Saturday the status for both players had been downgraded and they will miss the game against the Broncos.
Heyward-Bey did not practice all week as he recovered from a helmet-to-helmet hit that sent him to the hospital last Sunday...
Oakland Raiders wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey claims that he doesn’t remember suffering a nasty hit against the Steelers last week.
“I don’t remember any of it,” said Heyward-Bey according to the AP, via NFL.com.
Heyward-Bey is listed as doubtful for this week’s game. He hasn’t even resumed running yet.
“So far, I’ve been able to walk, talk and eat,” said...
This Sunday the Oakland Raiders will be going up against long time rival, the Denver Broncos. The Raiders lead this series overall with a record of 53 wins, 39 losses and 1 tie. The Raiders hope to make that 54 wins this Sunday, but the Broncos will do their best to keep it from happening. [...]
Oakland Raiders @ Denver BroncosOakland Raiders: Another game that likely cost more than a few survivor pool players, as the Raiders were able to come back at home and take a game from the Steelers.Pittsburgh looked like they had the game well in hand. But then Carson Palmer stormed back, throwing for three touchdowns and showing that he’s a viable starter if you’ve been forced...
One of the – if not the – biggest plays of the week 3 contest versus the Steelers was the first running play of the Raiders where Darren McFadden scampered virtually untouched 64 yards down the field and into the end zone for their first rushing touchdown of the season.
The play was significant for a number of reasons – it tied up the score, shifted momentum and gave confidence...
Oakland Raiders (1-2) at Denver Broncos (1-2)
I thought the Raiders were overrated coming into the season and now they’re even more overrated coming off a “surprising” win over the Steelers. Their upset win over the Steelers was not completely shocking given how much the Steelers have sucked over the last year plus on the road. They are -43 on the road in that time period,...
