Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Eric Wright has agreed to rework his contract to stay with the team, taking a big paycut that will earn him $1.5 to $3 million in 2013, reports Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. That's a far cry from the guaranteed $7.75 million he was due to receive under the previous contract, but his four-game suspension a season ago voided that guaranteed money. He tried to appeal the matter, filing a grievance, but lost. The latest move to keep Wright in the fold, may cool down the proposed trade with the New York Jets for Darrelle Revis, but we'll see where this goes. Mike Wilkening of PFT writes: 'At one point, the club was willing to consider dealing Wright, who had something of disappointing first season with the Buccaneers, but his departure would have left the secondary quite thin at cornerback.
